Prospective Student Information
About the Honors College
The Honors College at Oklahoma State University provides top undergraduate students with small classes (most limited to 22 students) that challenge them to develop their oral and written communication skills, to gather and synthesize information, to think about problems in new and complex ways, and to develop their critical thinking skills. Taught by some of the top teaching faculty on campus, honors courses tend to be highly interactive, discussion-based classes that engage students in an active and supportive learning environment. Honors College students enjoy a more personalized academic experience in addition to having access to the numerous resources of a large land-grant institution.
